| Well, one of the first updates I was thinking about adding to our forum is a WYSIWYG editor. You know when you make a post, and want to bold your words, you highlight and press 'bold' and it inserts [b] tags around it. The WYSIWYG editor will show you exactly what your post will look like, including showing bold & smilies instantly. The post screen will look like this: So, vote in the poll. If you like it, I will install it! Enjoy. ~GGX | |

| It means 'What You See Is What You Get'.
It's nice, but it kinda removes the famous BBCode.
I'd leave it a little while, when the normal BBEditor gets out of fashion, upgrade then.
But as the Lighthouse Beacon has been under that conversion, I think the ordinary BBEditor as already gone out of fashion. So I will vote 'Yes'.

| I'm surprised you just didn't install it, I can't think of any disadvantages, it's a step up, and I don't see why people wouldn't want it... anyways, I vote yes. - Dazzozo wrote:

Well, the BBcode is still there, it's just being parsed upon clicking the icon... You still could type - Code:
-
[b]whatever[b] and upon submiting it should still show as bold. The original BBcode editor got old a while ago in my opinion, most web softwares have already implemented a wysiwyg editor, and for the ones that haven't, people have already developed a hack for it.
